The girl told police that a woman in a blue SUV or minivan pulled up as they made her way to the Community Park School around 8:45 a.m.

The woman told the girl to "get in my car" and "I have something to show you" before driving off. The girl told police the car has a New Jersey license plate with a red Rutgers "R" on the back.

Police said the girl and her aunt were not walking side-by-side when she was approached. The girl reported the incident to the principal when she arrived at school because her aunt does not speak English, according to police.

The school is located on Witherspoon Street, down the street from the police station. Police said no similar cases have been reported this year.

The girl described the woman to police as a white female in her 30s with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident or had a similar encounter to call them at 609-921-2100.
