Deal Police Captain Killed in Ocean Township Crash

Capt. Earl B. Alexander 4th, an off-duty Deal police captain, was killed Saturday morning (January 2nd) in a car accident in Ocean Township (Monmouth County), according to authorities.

The Deal Police Department announced the news on their Facebook page on Saturday morning.

Alexander lost control of his 2007 Acura TSX and crashed into a utility pole on Route 71 near Perrine Avenue early Saturday morning (around 12:38am), according to NJ Advanced Media and NJ.com.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
