If you like to collect memorabilia you might want to jump on EBay and buy one of those Cruz/Fiorina bumper stickers for just $3.49 because not too many made it on cars anywhere.

The Republican Primary battle unofficially ended last night when Donald Trump scored a convincing win in Indiana which forced Ted Cruz to drop out of the race.  That leaves Ohio Governor John Kasich as the only challenger left in what was at one time a 17-person field including the likes of Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Dr. Ben Carson, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.  All of them made the same mistake and that was assuming Trump would eventually self-destruct and clearly he has not.

While Kasich insists he will stay in the race until Trump secures the needed delegates to clinch the nomination it is indeed over. The chairman of the Republican National Committee tweeted last night that Trump will be the presumptive GOP nominee and it’s time to unite and focus on defeating Hillary Clinton.

Of course now the question is will they rally around the New York businessman who has alienated many in his party but has also brought in those who are not typical Republicans.  Clearly many have overlooked his campaign and yet here he is as the only one standing, not counting Kasich who is in the “Hail Mary” stage of his campaign.

Say what you want about Trump. He’s arrogant, offensive, sexist, crazy, pompous, an egomaniac, whatever the words.  He has managed to mount a successful campaign against many odds and much opposition and despite what experts think he has a shot to win in November.  Throw this in: who would have thought the Republican race would be pretty much decided before the Democrats?

Bernie Sanders won Indiana last night and while Clinton will eventually secure the nomination she’s had to work a lot harder than expected and some of her flaws have been exposed.  Fasten your seat belts, this is going to be fun,
