Police say a bail bondsman found 46-year-old Michael J. Harrold in Florida and convinced him to return to New Jersey and turn himself in.

Harrold is accused of posting multiple ads offering to rent his Albatross Drive home, then entering into rental agreements with at least 12 families for the same time period.  Police say Harrold also accepted and cashed checks for security deposits.  He had been a fugitive since failing to appear for court dates for charges in Middlesex County.

Harrold is charged with 3rd degree theft by deception.  Upon his arrest, he was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $65,000.00 bail with no 10% option.
