Coyote Spotted at South Toms River Elementary School
Parents of children who attend South Toms River Elementary are on notice following a coyote sighting on school grounds Monday, according to school officials.
Students were forced to stay inside during recess as a precaution.
Police will be on hand today as children arrive at school and the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife has been notified.
A letter sent home with children warns parents not to allow children on school grounds until the coyote is located.
