On one hand it's hard to believe that it's been almost two and a half months since Hurricane Sandy, on the other hand it's still fresh in our minds. Among the massive losses were over 200,000 vehicles, some of which could make their way to the auction block.

The Weather Channel posted photos of a massive airstrip filled with over 15,000 cars from Sandy that could be scrapped, sold for parts, or even refurbished and auctioned.

Personally, I don't know how I'd feel if I was driving down the Parkway and saw someone pass me in my own car that I thought was irrevocably lost in the worst storm to hit the Jersey shore in our lifetimes.

Click here to check out the photos at The Weather Channel's website, it's a pretty bizarre sight, it looks more like the Six Flags parking lot on Memorial Day weekend than a flooded car graveyard.
