Convenience store couple sought in Barnegat Township

Keeping a tight lid on details, Barnegat Township police cull surveillance images of a man and woman from a local WaWa and circulate them in the hope that a viewer can help identify them.

In a cryptic post on their Facebook page, police did not elaborate on the convenience store's exact location, or the incident that prompted them seek the identities.

Time stamps on the images, including that of a car in a fuel service bay, peg the date as Saturday June 6, and the time at about 11:23 PM.

Police offered no details on the nature of the investigation, indicating only that Detective Vincent Damiano is accepting tips at 609-698-5000, ext. 221.
