Contaminated Gas Sold At Lakewood Gas Station

The BP gas station in Lakewood Township may be selling contaminated gasoline. 

According to TheLakewoodScoop.com, a local mechanic noticed over 10 vehicles with mechanical failures or trouble after they filled up at the River Avenue station.  Dominick Clarizio of Gill Energy, the company that provides gas for BP, says anyone who filled up there should retain a sample and contact him as soon as possible.  His email address is dclarizio@gillenergy.com or call 732-696-2201.

If you are a victim of this contamination, you can contact BP by emailing them at bpconsum@bp.com. You can also call them at 1-800-333-3991, and they will refund you for the gas as well as for any issues the gas caused, with proof of the mechanical failure.  Be sure to keep copies of your receipts too.
