The Jeffrey Frank Wacks Music Therapy Program is part of LIVESTRONG's Community Impact Project.  It will provide up to $15,600 to 39 organizations nationwide, with the winners being determined by public voting.

CMC VP for Development Rick Pallamary says the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community already has a music therapy program, but they're hoping to expand it by winning the grant.

"We'd be able to bring a certified music therapist into the hospital and expand the amount of hours that we currently provide,"  Pallamary said.
