It's a topic I've touched on before. Here in Ocean County, we shouldn't be lumped in with some of the rest of the New Jersey stereotypes. Ok, so maybe some of our beaches are less than pristine, but plenty others are beautiful and safe, so I think we deserve a break.

And I'm not the only one, it's officially "Be Nice to New Jersey Week".

That's right, the Garden State is so put-upon that we've been given a whole week to try to give us a break.

The "holiday" actually goes back nearly 30 years, and we can thank Texas for encouraging the rest of the country to lay off us for a few days.

With no thanks to Snooki, The Housewives, and The Sopranos, give us a break for a few days, we've earned it.

What do you think the most unfair New Jersey stereotype is? Feel free to vent in the comments section!
