Christmas Day fatal hit-and-run in Lakewood Township
Another fatal pedestrian accident in Lakewood last night after a man was hit at the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive around 7:30 pm in a hit-and-run, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Police later caught up with the driver who was being questioned at headquarters.
The man injured was transported to the hospital where he later died.
No other information has been released.
Any witnesses or someone who knows anything about the car accident is urged to call Lakewood police at 732-363-0200.
Lakewood police have not yet returned a message for updates on the investigation to WOBM News.
