In a Camden federal courtroom, Jeffrey Spicer, 45, was sentenced today for his guilty plea to one count of knowingly possessing child pornography, according to the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

Under questioning, Spicer admitted having the images on electronic and digital gear that was taken from his home in March 2014.

According to authorities, forensic searches yielded numerous images of sex abuse, including those stored in his cell phone by way of a password-protected application.

Spicer is also oredered to serve 10 years of supervised release and pay $7,200 in restitution.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigations division (HSI) of the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recommends reporting suspected child predators through its online tip form, or through its hotline, 1-866-347-2423.

HSI also issues its Operation Predator smartphone app and maintains an online suspect alert page.
