Tuesday, July 16th ...... Thursday, July 18th ... Join The Hometown Crew on Jenkinsons Boardwalk in Pt. Pleasant from 5pm-7pm for Dolphin Races.  Bring the kids to participate as they use stick figure dolphins to race each other for prizes! There are 6 participants per race and one winner per race.  There are several races from 5pm-7pm!

Saturday, July 20th, Join the Hometown Crew from 2pm-4pm at the 32nd Annual Family Chick BBQ at the Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire Department on Clayton Rd. in Toms River!  The BBQ runs from 12pm-7pm and includes moon bounces, live music, pony rides and more!  Adult meal tickets are just $9 and children under 12 are $6!  For more information call 732-349-0808!  The Hometown Crew will also have your chance to win a pair of tickets to see the Jonas Brothers at PNC Bank Arts Center!

 

Jennifer Klein, a registered dietitian from Shop-Rite of Manchester, will lead two series of cooking demonstrations this summer at six Ocean County Library branches.
In her first series, “Fresh and Season Meals Made Easy,” Klein will show how to make a meal using local produce.  She will also discuss some of the best choices of the season and show you how to prepare a quick and fresh meal.  Samples will be served.
