Check Out The Big Favor That Mother Nature Did For Us [Photo]

With the half a foot plus of snow throughout Ocean County melting over the last week, the last thing that we needed here was a rain storm on top of it. But if we want to look at the glass as being half full, it actually did a big favor for a lot of us.

I don't know about you, but my car was a mess of salt and sand.

I was hesitant to get it washed because I knew that the next time I went out on the roads, it would just get messy again with all of the spray from other vehicles.

But yesterday's rain did the trick.

Especially driving a black car, I could really use it. I've always thought that black cars look really sharp when they're clean and shiny, but when they're dirty, they look like rolling dust bunnies.

So, thanks for the wash, Mother Nature! Here's to (hopefully) the last of the salt and sand on our highways for a while!
