Charges Dismissed Against Former Toms River Doctor

Maryland prosecutors have dismissed murder charges against a former Toms River doctor and a colleague in the death of a fetus.

Dr. Steven Brigham of Vorhees and Dr. Nicola Riley had been charged under a Maryland law. A prosecutor cited conflicts in expert testimony for the decision to drop the charges.
