Celebrating Sixty Years with the Garden State Philharmonic

The Garden State Philharmonic Symphony Society, Inc. (GSP) is dedicated to a mission of maintaining and operating a professional level symphony orchestra at the Jersey Shore; to giving concerts of cultural and educational value in and for the community; and to fostering such related activities that will encourage interest in and appreciation of music.~ GSP

 

On Friday I had the privilege of attending a special VIP/Press Party for the Garden State Philharmonic at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center on the Campus of Ocean County College. It was an afternoon to hear about the latest with the Philharmonic and to celebrate their "60th Anniversary" season. Lots of exciting events coming up for the 2015-2016 season. Along with a chance to meet many of the people involved with the Philharmonic we were also treated to a mini-concert from the Garden State Youth Orchestra ... a group of fantastic students from around the area, truly great to see these future performers. Get involved with the Garden State Philharmonic this season and enjoy the arts here at the Jersey Shore.
