Celebrate The Stars and Stripes It’s Flag Day

Today ( 6/14 ) is Flag Day !

In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day; in August 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress.

DO YOU DISPLAY THE STARS AND STRIPES AT HOME  ?

Here's a few tips on how to properly display the "Flag"

Make sure the flag is in respectable condition before you display it. A torn or tattered flag should not be displayed.

• Make sure the flag is in good condition
• Make sure the union ( blue field with white stars ) is at the top of the staff when the flag is displayed on a flagpole.
• Keep the U.S. flag at the top when more then one flag is flown from the same halyard
