Barnegat Drug Death Leads to Six-Year Sentence for Atlantic City Man

The Atlantic City 23-year-old who took a guilty plea to manslaughter and heroin distribution in the 2013 overdose death of a Barnegat man is sentenced to six years in prison. Authorities say it's the ninth prosecution of its kind in just over a year in Ocean County since implementation of New Jersey's Strict Liability Act.
