Monsignor Donovan Celebrates 50 Years
They opened their doors in 1962 as St. Joseph High School and a little more than two decades later the school name was changed to Monsignor Donovan. Now in its 50th year as Ocean County’s catholic high school Mon Don’s year-long golden celebration continues tomorrow with an Alumni Basketball Reunion and Retired Jersey Celebration.

I first met Geoff Brown in November of 1999 when he was introduced as General Manager of what would be a new minor league baseball team in Lakewood. At that time the team did not have a name or even a stadium and they were working out of temporary offices in the Lakewood Industrial Park.
