Summer is finally here at the Jersey Shore, and one of the best things about our area is the amazing restaurants we have.

This week's restaurant is top notch when it comes to food, service, and atmosphere!

Put it on your foodie bucket list: Brando's Citi Cucina in Asbury Park!

Brando's is serving up amazing Italian food at 162 Main St. in Asbury Park, right at the intersection of uber-trendy Cookman Ave.

Owner Steven Botta is insanely passionate about his food, and it comes through in every meal.

I got to chat with Chef John Dougherty and he said that what takes their food from everyday Italian fare to the outstanding dishes they serve up is starting with the best ingredients. He said they strive to be 'upscale, New Age, but we also want it to feel like you're at home at the same time.'

Brando's also has a stellar wine list and impressive selection of cocktails (try the Blueberry Basil!)

I can't even recommend just one dish, because it's always so hard for me to decide! EVERYTHING is good. They do catering as well, so keep them in mind for your upcoming parties.
