The New Roller Coaster In Seaside Heights Opens This Weekend!

There are few more iconic photos of the post-Sandy Shore than the now-famous picture of the Jet Star roller coaster silently sitting in the surf. Well, when Casino Pier decided to bring a roller coaster back to the Seaside Heights boardwalk, they thought big!

We've been keeping an eye on the construction of the new thrill ride, now known as "Hydrus", since the winter.

And now, if you've been following along at home, good news - the first members of the public will get to ride a coaster on the boardwalk once again this weekend!

And we're not the only ones looking forward to it, U.S. News listed Hydrus as one of the "15 Top Theme Park Additions For 2017".

So, enough of my talk! When can you ride?

It all begins tomorrow (Saturday, May 6th) at Noon!

I'm willing to bet that there will be people lining up to ride, so if you want to be one of the first to experience Hydrus, you might want to get there early!
