Car Burglary Advisory is Issued in Brick

Motor vehicle burglaries are plaguing a few Brick Township neighborhoods. Police say they're investigating five burglaries that took place in the area of Cedar Bridge Manor and Rose Manor Court earlier this week.

Police say the thieves have been removing items like sunglasses, cameras and spar change from unlocked vehicles during overnight hours on Baltic Drive, Sycamore Drive, Rose Manor Court and Pine Drive. They also add that the vehicles were parked in front of or in the driveway of residences.

They advise residents to lock their vehicles when parking their cars and remove any valuable items from their vehicle or keep the valuables out of view.
