James Paroline, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested after a search of his home today, according to information from the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman. He faces two counts of receiving child pornography through the Internet and remains incarcerated until a Thursday bail hearing.

Authorities did not identify the schools for which Paroline worked as a preschool assistant or summer camp counselor.

He is accused of downloading salacious images from a specialty online bulletin board on March 1 and 2 of this year. Law enforcement officers discovered the images and videos and traced the recipient's user name and IP address to Paroline's dwelling, authorities said.

Conviction on either count carries a possible prison term of five to 20 years and fines as high as $250,000.
