I love photography! Every month I post my "photography" blog here at wobm.com. It's a fantastic hobby and so many love to do it as well. Here at the Jersey Shore we have fabulous opportunities to capture fantastic photos. With that being said, it's a great opportunity to showcase your work and be involved in a terrific photography contest!

OceanFirst will once again hold it's photography contest and winners will be part of their latest calendar project.

This year the contest will focus on the Jersey Shore through the years. According to the contest rules: "dig through your old photos and share some of the Jersey Shore’s wonderful history. Or go out and take some new photos of such places that are still standing today."

According to OceanFirst, Photographers can submit their original work via mail to OceanFirst Bank, Marketing Department/Calendar Contest, 975 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753, on disk or dropped off at 975 Hooper Avenue. No photo will be accepted unless accompanied by a signed official entry form, which can be downloaded from the OceanFirst website (www.oceanfirst.com) or requested via e-mail at calendarcontest@oceanfirst.com. For official rules please visit the OceanFirst Bank website. Deadline for submissions is Monday, October 3, 2016.

I had the honor of having one of my photos selected a few years back and was part of their wonderful calendar. So if your a "Jersey Shore" photographer get involved and share history and your photos!

Photographs must be in color, formatted 10” w x 8” deep horizontally, and submitted on a CD as a TIF or EPS file with a resolution of 300 dpi. All submitted images must be accompanied by an 8” x 10” print. There is a limit of 5 submissions per photographer.
