Neven Salas, 18, of Browns Mills, is being held on $250,000 full bail on a charge of aggravated manslaughter, according to the office of Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi. He also faces weapons and hindering counts.

Davon Coleman, 18, died of a chest wound at Deborah Hospital in Pemberton shortly after the shooting, which took place at about 1 AM, authorities said.

Investigators determined that Salas and Coleman were in a detached garage on the 300 block of Bayberry Street, with a third individual who lived in the accompanying house.

Originally told that three masked individuals entered, shot Coleman and fled, investigators later found the firearm in the garage and tied it to Salas.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are considered innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
