Work on the spans on Routes 35, 88 and 13 is scheduled for non-rush hours, Mondays through Fridays, through summer 2019. Only one bridge at a time is scheduled to be serviced.

NJDOT advises that it might entail alternating traffic in one travel lane. Department officials call it preventative maintenance to extend the life of each bridge.

Surface repairs include deck patching, curb restoration, expansion joint and header reconstruction, sidewalk and deck crack repairs, drainige maintenance, power washing and corrosion inhibitor application..
