Well that was fast!

It was just a week and a half ago that I posted this article saying that the At Home store in Brick's Laurel Square was getting closer to completion.

Flash forward just a week, and the doors are now open.

According to a press release from At Home Group, Inc, the store had a soft opening on Friday, November 16th and will officially cut the ribbon on December 1st with what they're calling, "a community New Store Open House ".

Of course, this is a welcome sight for a plaza that quickly went from packed to relatively idle after both anchor stores, Pathmark (October 2015) and K-Mart (March 2018) closed.

The press release also touts that At Home is the place to be for holiday décor:

At Home is the holiday headquarters, with one of the biggest holiday assortments for inside and outside the home at the best prices. With 12 new Christmas collections, more than 100 styles of artificial trees and nutcrackers and over 1,000 ornaments, At Home makes it easy to Christmas all the way for the most stylish time of the year.

Brick's At Home is the 3rd location in New Jersey, joining Cherry Hill and Wayne.

The official ribbon cutting is on Saturday, December 1st at 9 a.m.
