Brick Woman Accused of Driving Drunk with her Child
A Brick Township mother is accused of driving drunk with her six-year-old daughter in the car in Lakewood. According to a press release from Lakewood police, Sgt. James Finnegan noticed the vehicle traveling East on Cedarbridge Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday and pull across two lanes of traffic to turn North onto New Hampshire Avenue.
After pulling the driver over, Sgt. Finnegan conducted sobriety tests and determined 22-year-old Jasmine Vincent was impaired. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters with her daughter.
A 24-year-old Jackson man who was in the car was released from the scene.
Vincent is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated with a Minor and Second Degree Child Endangerment. She was also served with two unrelated warrants for her arrest.
