Brick Township To Host Sandy Information Fair

On Saturday, January 12, Brick Township residents whose homes were ravaged by Superstorm Sandy can head to a Sandy Information Fair to gain much needed knowledge about the rebuilding process.

Brick Mayor Stephen Acropolis has organized four hour-long sessions beginning at 8 a.m for homeowners only.

"I arranged for knowledgeable FEMA representatives to be on hand Saturday to address frequently asked questions, dispel misinformation and arm residents with the information they need to move forward with the rebuilding process," said Mayor Acropolis.

Brick residents who would like to attend one of the information sessions should email sandyinfofair@twp.brick.nj.us. The email should include the resident's name, home address, telephone number, and email address along with which of the four one hour session, in order of preference, they would like to attend. Info sessions will be held hourly beginning at 8 a.m. through 11 a.m.

The event is not meant for trade professionals. Township officials say a separate opportunity will be arranged for business owners and companies to get information.
