Brick Township Joins Burglary-Plagued Ocean County Communities
Homes in Brick Township join a growing list of dwellings throughout Ocean County being looted in broad daylight, and the suspects remain outside the grasp of police in each community.
Brick police say that jewelry was stolen in three separate burglaries.
A Texas Drive dwelling last week was cleared out of gems and accessories valued at $2,000. On Tuesday of this week, say investigators, thieves made off with baubles and wearable jewelry totally more than $4,500 from homes on Mantoloking Road and Stengle Avenue.
Police ask anyone who can help them pinpoint and apprehend suspects to call them at 732-262-1120.
Burglary sprees, mostly in the daytime, have already surfaced in Lacey, Manchester and Toms River within the past two weeks.
