Police say the incindent took place on the 200 block of Sky Manor Boulevard on Tuesday.

The resident describing the man who entered by clambering through a ground-floor bedroom window claimed not to know him, but he identified himself as Dave, police said.

She told investigators that "Dave" claimed to be there to drop off money for her father and left through the front door, leaving the area in a large, blue, four-door pickup truck, pointed southbound on Sky Manor Boulevard.

Investigators seek a white male, about 40 years of age, 5'8" to 5'11" in height, about 140 pounds, with a thin mustache.

He was described as wearing blue jeans, a green lightweight jacket and a baseball cap of indeterminate color.

Detectives Brian Farnkopf and Michael Bevacqua head the investigation. Farnkopf can be reached at 732-262-4611 and Bevacqua is at 732-262-4612.
