On Monday we told you that the new QuickChek at Route 70 & Brick Boulevard in Brick is now open for business. And now we're getting more details about the store, including the fact that it's a prototype concept store that could be the future of QuickChek.

The goal of the new store is to emphasize their fresh food, and to make moving around the store easier and more open, inviting, and warm.

Of the design of the Brick store, CEO Dean Durling had this to say:

“We feel this new design provides a better showcase for our high-quality, great tasting fresh food and beverage menu items throughout our new stores as we continue to meet the ever-changing shopping and dining habits of today’s consumer”

You can chek it out for yourself (hah, "chek"! See what I did there?) at the intersection of Brick Blvd and Route 70 any time of the day or night, 24-hours a day!

On the same topic, we've also gotten word from a pretty well placed source that the other new QuickChek in Ocean County, at Fischer Boulevard and Route 37 in Toms River, is looking to cut their ribbon on Halloween itself, Tuesday, October 31st. Stay tuned for updates!
