Brick man arrested after luring 15-year old girl for sex online

A Brick Township man faces a slew of charges after arranging to meet a 15-year old Howell girl for sex after the two had spoken online.

28-year old Craig Sorokach of Sawmill Road in Brick faces charges for Attempted Sexual Assault, Luring, Enticing a Child by Various Means, Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Attempted Obscenity to a Minor, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

Sorokach's alleged actions were discovered as a result of an investigation conducted by the MCPO along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Investigators remind the public that: despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
