According to the Pinelands Regional Web Page, grades 10 through 12 will be dismissed at 11:25 AM. Alternative school and junior high schedules remain full-day. After school activities are cancelled and tonight's Leadership Awards dinner is postponed.

No one was injured. The blaze broke out around 5 a.m.

According to Superintendent Dr. Robert Blake, an overheated plug in a socket triggered the episode, and damage was limited to one section of the classroom. He anticipates that it will be restored by Thursday..

Students went to school because the District didn't have enough time required by state law to hold a delayed opening. Students have been waiting outside in a field while the building is cleared of smoke.
