Breaking News: Dead Body Found in Barnegat Bay

Toms River police have confirmed a person believed to have jumped from the Thomas A. Mathis Bridge, connecting the Township with Seaside Heights, has been found dead in the Barnegat Bay.  

The body has been pulled to shore. A driver this morning reported seeing a distraught-looking person on the bridge, prompting a search, according to authorities.
