Body Found In Lakewood Hotel Room

A grim discovery was made this morning at the Hilton Hotel on Route 70 in Lakewood. 

The body of a 26 year old Jackson woman was found inside one of the guest rooms shortly after 8 a.m.

Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Al Della Fave says the woman was found in a room of the hotel by her friend, who notified the front desk, who in turn notified police.

Police are investigating the incident. Her identity won't be released until next of kin are notified.
