Boat Races Are Taking Place in Tuckerton This Weekend

 

The Jerseyoutlaws will be racing this Saturday, September 20th on Sunday their Championship Race in Historic Tuckerton.  One of the first race sites in the sport going as far back as the 1950s, the Outlaws pays tribute to the history and restoring the tradition of Garvey Racing in Tuckerton.

The race was postponed until Sunday due to rough water.

Races will start at 12:00 and is FREE for all who attend.  You are going to see some of the fastest racing on the Bay.

There will be music, boat racing, hot dogs and soda sold by the Boy Scouts along with T-shirts sold for the Frog Pond School, special needs program..

This Family Free event will be held at the end of S Green Street.  Exit 58, Tuckerton, south on N Green Street (539), cross over route 9, which turns into S Green Street until you hit the Bay.

Bring a Lawn Chair and a smile and enjoy the Day.
