Birdsall Sale Approved by Fed Bankruptcy Judge

Sale approved for a once prominent Eatontown-based Civil Engineering Firm. According to the Asbury Park Press, a Federal Bankruptcy Judge Wednesday allowed the sale of most of Birdsall Services Group's assets to California-based Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. for $5.6 million dollars.

The move allows Birdsall staff to complete its current contracts and to continue to operate as it previously did under a different name.

The sale follows the indictment of seven Birdsall executives for allegedly violating the state's Pay- To-Play laws. The executives are charged with funneling company money to individual employees for six years so they could contribute to political campaigns in towns with whom they had contracts.
