Shaun Anderson, 35, is suspected of moving thousands of dollars' worth of the drug following a search of his car Thursday evening near Route 37 at Bananier Drive - not far from the scene of a bank robbery last week.

Authorities say they seized about 3,500 doses with a street value estimated at $14,000, along with $2,200 cash.

Investigators with Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato's office and Berkeley Township police developed information that led to the execution of a search warrant for the black 2005 Infiniti FX-35 driven by Anderson.

Anderson was charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin. He was remanded to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River with bail set at $135,000 cash.
