Originally scheduled for this coming Saturday, December 1st, Berkeley Township is moving their Christmas tree lighting ceremony back a few days.

With a forecast of soaking rain for much of Saturday, the Township made the decision to push the ceremony to next week to hopefully avoid a rainy, muddy mess.

The new date is Friday, December 7th.

The ceremony will start at 5 p.m. at Veterans Park.

Of course, Santa Claus will be on hand, the Central Regional Chorus will perform, and the whole family can munch on hot cocoa & cookies!
