Berkeley Police Arrest Pair of Jewelry Thieves

Berkeley Police charge a Marlboro man and a Waretown woman with the theft of $10,000 worth of jewelry from a Boca Raton St. home.

Berkeley Patch reports the arrests are connected to a June 26 burglary when the residents were away.

Cecil Nicholls, 28,  and Christine Greenfield, 26, are being charged with burglary and theft.

The jewelry was recovered in a Toms River pawn shop and identified by the owners.

Greenfield turned herself in to police on June 28.  Nicholls was arrested Wednesday on Rt. 37 in Toms River.

Both are locked up in Ocean County Jail on $50,000 bail.
