Berkeley man arrested in connection with burglaries in Manchester Township
A string of burglaries around the Shore entered Manchester Township recently and as a result 28-year old Patrick Frew of Buena Visa Drive in Berkeley Township was arrested Friday December 9 in connection to a number of senior community thefts.
Police in Manchester arrested Frew upon his arrival home as the result of a month long sting into burglaries in the area.
Frew who also had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest in Monmouth County, was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of $15,500.00 bail and is being charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft.
The investigation into the burglaries is ongoing.
The Manchester Police were assisted by members of the Berkeley Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department Crime Scene Investigations Unit.
