Belmar Solicits Bids for Boardwalk Construction Project

The borough of Belmar goes out to bid for construction of a new boardwalk in time for next summer. The competitive bid includes a substantial bond, financial penalties for missing milestone dates and financial incentives to complete the project ahead of schedule. The bid follows the borough's buy-a-board campaign announced Monday.
