Police say 30 year old Enedina Sandoval and her four children were in the cross-walk and suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident.

38 year old Charles Lentz, of Belmar, was turning onto Main St. from 13th Ave. and didn't see the family of five crossing the road.   Police confirm Lentz was stopped at the stop sign before turning onto Main St.

The family of five was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center.  Sandoval suffered a knee injury.  Her 2 year old daughter, who was in a stroller, suffered a head laceration and possible broken nose.  The other three children suffered hand and knee injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
