Two men from Belleville await processing in Ocean County in an ongoing probe of drug activity by investigators of county Prosecutor Joseph Coronato's office.

Carlos Monterroso, 29, and Mario Yarleque, Jr., 33, are each charged with four counts related to possession and intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana. A judge in Ocean County Superior Court in Toms River set Monterroso's bail at $150,000, and Yarleque's bail at $50,000.

Investigators say that the arrests followed a month-long probe. Detectives from the prosecutor's Special Operations Group conducted a roadside stop of the white Infiniti carrying the pair on Route 9 in Waretown on Monday.

A search of the car, say authorities, revealed about 100 grams of cocaine with an estimated value of $10,000, and marijuana bagged for sale.

Under bail terms issued, neither defendant has the option of release upon payment of 10 percent of the total.
