Valerie Resendes, 27, pleaded guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy in Trenton today.

Rashawn Ramos, 37, of Perth Amboy, pleaded guilty on December 16 to conspiring to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin and 500 grams or more of cocaine, according to information from the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman.

The pair were among 21 suspected members of the Britt-Young DTO targeted in a probe of heroin and cocaine distribution. Their admissions bring the number of guilty pleas to 10, authorities said.

Resendes admitted moving more than 400 grams of heroin between February 2013 and March 2014, while Ramos confessed to receiving at least 1,000 grams of heroin and 1,500 grams of cocaine by mail from California between November 2013 and March 2014, authorities said.

Sentencing for Resendes is scheduled for March 10, 2015. She also risks a fine as high as $1,000,000. Ramos's plea translates to anywhere between five and 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000,000. His sentencing is scheduled two weeks later.
