The fatal police shooting in the parking lot of the High Velocity Sports Bar and Grill in Beachwood last summer is ruled as justified. According to the Asbury Park Press, the State Attorney General's Office made that determination today clearing Beachwood Police Sergeant Bruce Harris' use of deadly force on July 19th that claimed the life of 52-year-old Mark Tanouye. Tanouye, a convicted felon, brandished a handgun and refused to drop it on police orders. The Ocean County Prosecutors office had earlier cleared the Sergeant in the shooting.
