Beachwood Reservist Surprises Daughters

Two Ocean County sisters get a wonderful Christmas gift. 10-year-old Haley and 12-year-old Alexia of Beachwood got a surprise appearance from their dad while visiting Santa at the Ocean County Mall Tuesday.

New Jersey National Guardsman Sergeant 1st Class Daniel Leonard has been serving in Afghanistan since April. He says he was able to return earlier than expected because other Reservist decided not to take their leave.

It's his third tour of duty with an Operational Mentor and Liaison Team that teaches, coaches and mentors the Afghan National Army in partnership with Albania.
