BCCT Gets Ready For Their Big “WONKA” Show
It's this weekend starting tonight! Brick Children's Community Theater presents Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka.For the first time BCCT will be performing at the Historic Strand Theatre in Lakewood. BCCT a is non-profit, community theater group dedicated to producing professional-quality theatrical works featuring children ages four through their final year of high school. These kids are amazing and I'm proud to say I'm a huge supporter of BCCT!
This Willy Wonka show will be extra special because I know the cool kid that plays Wonka! His name is Brian Logsdon (a Central Regional Student) and, by the way, he was Shrek last year with BCCT's production of Shrek. He is going to be a star, not just because he's adorable and talented, but he's so nice to everyone he meets! He was a counselor at my daughter's school-- he was great with the kids and parents, too! Go Brian! Darn, I forgot to get his autograph! I'm sure I'll see him again before he hits it big!
