It would be easy to blame meteorologists and the media for the blizzard that wasn’t but it does prove that in the end despite advanced technology Mother Nature is unpredictable.

If you saw any of the footage of what happened on the eastern end of Long Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts then you know that could have easily been us at the Jersey Shore.  I don’t blame the weather experts as much as the way the predictions are delivered and hyped but the truth is everyone is doing it.  Be thankful you only had to dig out from a few inches instead of a few feet.

The NFL needs to come up with a better policy in regards to media participation by players to avoid the joke that took place Tuesday in Arizona.  Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch avoided a $500,000 fine by sitting at a podium for the required five minutes and answering questions with 29 responses of “I’m here so I won’t get fined.”  When the five minutes were up, so was he.  I don’t really understand Lynch and am not a fan but he is a tremendous player who I guess simply does not want to speak with the media.

South Jersey Wrestling is presenting a five-match program in which Cerullo will meet professional wrestler Josh Adams in the featured match billed as “The Bully” vs. “The Badge.”  It all takes place Saturday night at Manchester Township High School with doors opening at 6:30 and the first match getting underway at 7:30.  General admission is $10 with ringside seats $15 and all proceeds benefit Heroes & Cool Kids a mentoring program utilizing current and former pro athletes to help high school students mentor those in middle school.

Good luck Chris. This figures to be more challenging than making a jump shot or hitting a baseball.
